Meat is the most important component of the paleo lifestyle. By eating meats we are giving our bodies nutrients that it cannot make on it's own. According to the cdc.gov, women in my age group 19-70+ need 46 grams of protein each day! To put that in to prospective, a 3 ounce piece of meat has 21 grams of protein and one cup of spinach has 1 gram of protein. How much protein will be on your plate tonight?

Canada Day, changing of the guard. Blessed to have seen this. We had an unforgettable day enjoying strangers company, free live music and food! The fireworks show was one of the best we have seen and a great way to end a spectacular day! Breath taking. Our first Beaver Tail! We were told by those in Toronto that we HAD to have one. They were right...yummy!Found this little gem on a walk around the city. Tiny little shop with unforgettable doughnuts!Federal Court of Canada tour. We learned so much on a free tour! Some of my favorite memories were made here.CANADA DAY! Pat and I had a blast! We saw Carly Rae Jepsen live while eating FREE cheese curds! The amount of pride and sea of red was amazing to be a part of, I will forever remember this day!Paddle boating and lunch on the lake. Pat and I got sunburnt terribly but it was worth it. We packed our lunches and spent the day paddle boating. We fed some ducks and got ice cream on our way home.Best we had all trip! It only took us an hour walk to get there! Then we ate a ton and had to truck it back the hour home. Well worth it!Great food with an amazing new found friend! Shout out to Julien for introducing us to ways of living. Thank you for your hospitality!Me on Canada Day celebrating! The sea of red and white!
